Role description: Stock up all of the tables with water and bananas prior to 9:30am. Stay in your set position as shown by the Finish Funnel Drinks and Banana Station Team Leader. Distribute a bottle of water and a banana at the same time to the runners (for the race crew in front of the tables). Encourage runners to keep moving when receiving their drink and banana. Keep the water and bananas stocked up on the tables at all times (for the race crew behind the tables).

Role description: Ensure the flow of runners is continuous. Provide access for first aid personnel to runners who require medical assistant. Assist runners to return to their feet and continue walking along the finish funnel if they sit or lie on the ground. Support the drinks station, banana station, race recovery pack station and the medal station should they require assistance. Ready to operate the contingency funnel entrance should it be needed during the busiest period 2-3 hours into the race (11am-12noon).

hideJob Description:The muster area crew will primarily be working to assist all runners to get to within the correct pen in the pre-start assembly area by 08.10 and will from there chaperone the runners within their defined pen safely across to the pens at the start. They will then take on the role of start line marshals, working in pairs to hold tape across the front of each pen until instructed to release that pen.

As runners start to assemble each marshal will be assigned to a start pen and will follow instruction closely to ensure the race starts as per plan. Marshals will help in the breakdown of the start area ensuring it is returned to normal as soon as possible after the start of the race.
