Q. When does the race take place?
A. The Scotland Kilomathon is planned to take place on 3rd October 2010.
Q. Where does the race take place?
A. The Scotland Kilomathon starts and finishes in the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston and goes over the spectacular Forth Road Bridge.
Q. When will entries open and close?
A. Entries for the 2010 Scotland Kilomathon will open on 1st September 2009. Standard entries will be on a first come first served basis until we reach our entry limit. Charity entries will be available after standard entries close.
Q. When will I receive my purchased merchandise?
A. Any merchandise you purchased on our shop or as you entered will be delivered from 15th October 2009 onwards, or within two weeks of your purchase after that date. Shuttle Bus tickets will be sent with your race number.
Q. When will I get my race number?
A. All UK runners will be posted their race pack (running number, timing device and final competitor instructions) within two weeks of the event. If you have not received your race pack within two weeks of the event please contact us to arrange collection of a new pack. Final competitor instructions will also be posted on the website within 4 weeks of the event.
Q. When will I receive my final details booklet?
A. You will be posted your final race instructions within two weeks of the event. This will be in the same pack as your race number. You will also be able to download the final details from the homepage 4 weeks of the event.
Q. What will I receive when I finish the Kilomathon?
A. All Kilomathon runners will receive a t-shirt, goodybag, finisher’s medal, water, energy drink and a banana.
Q. What is the course time limit?
Participants must begin the Kilomathon during the official start and complete the Kilomathon course within 4 hours (15 minute mile pace) i.e. the course will close at 15 minute mile pace. See terms and conditions of entry.
Q. What is the distance of the Kilomathon?
A. the formal course distance of the Kilomathon is 26,218.76 metres.
Q. How will the runners be allocated in time pens?
A. Kilomathon runners will be allocated in time pens according to their predicted finishing time. Running numbers will also be allocated by predicted finishing time.
