Rachel Simkin Hope for Children (registered charity No: 1041258) was founded to assist disabled and disadvantaged children in developing countries and the United Kingdom. HOPE ensures that as much of any donation goes directly to the children that need our help by keeping our administration costs low - less that 2p in the pound. In the past year we have managed to assist over 350 projects in 30 countries, mainly through voluntary efforts.

The beneficiaries are wide-ranging. In the UK our work includes help for young single Mothers through the organisation Homestart, support with facilities for disabled children in Women's aid hostels, and special days our for deprived children. In developing countries our work includes providing artificial limbs to child landmine victims in Sri Lanka as well as feeding, education and income generating programmes in India, Ghana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Hope for Children also supports schemes in 14 countries that help alleviate the suffering of children on the street.Get Involved:
