Scottish Veterans' Residences (SVR), supports independent living for men and women of all ages who have served in the armed forces or the Merchant Marine, who find themselves homeless or in need. From WW2 and Korea to Iraq and Afghanistan, our residents have served their country with pride, now they need your help. Can you support them by running the Edinburgh Marathon on behalf of SVR?
We believe that every resident deserves the best quality of support, accommodation, kindness and understanding that we can provide. Dignity, privacy and respect are of paramount importance in delivering our support within a homely, safe, warm and caring community environment.
Run the Edinburgh Marathon for us, either with your own place or one of SVR's charity assured places and you will receive an SVR T-shirt and running vest, as well as the satisfaction of knowing that every penny you raise will go towards the support of our Veterans.
