Why not run for a charity that is really making a difference to thousands of terminally ill children and adults each year in Romania and the Balkans. Before the People’s Revolution of 1989 terminally ill children and adults were simply sent home to die in pain to the great distress of their relatives.
From small beginnings in 1992, the Charity now provides the only in-patient teaching hospice in Romania and has started a hospice service in Belgrade, Serbia. We are also helping other charities establish their hospice services by providing training through our Study Centre in Brasov, Romania.
We are keen to give you the opportunity to help us by putting all your pain to good use, so that we can provide comfort in place of pain for our patients and they can then make every day count.
