NEW - Mini KilomathonMini Kilomathon
Another world’s first for the Kilomathon series is the introduction of the Mini Kilomathon within the Kilomathon race series. The Mini Kilomathon at (2.62km/1.6miles) is open to anyone from 9yrs to 17yrs and is a great race for children to enjoy. Click here for more info.

 

2010 Entry deadline extended
The entry deadline to the 2010 Scotland Kilomathon has been extended from Thursday 9th September until Friday 1st October.  Entries after 9th September will need to pick up their race pack from the registration desk in Ingliston on race morning. All other entrants will receive their race pack in the post before race day.  Entries are on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here for entry categories and prices.

 

New date for 2011 Scotland Kilomathon
The 2011 Scotland Kilomathon will run on the Sunday 17th April 2011, 5 weeks before Edinburgh Marathon. The Scotland Kilomathon will no longer run in October and April will be the new annual date for the event.  The event day has been moved to April to give Scottish runners an ideal marathon training run.  Click here for more info.



The Scotland Kilomathon™ will be in Edinburgh 3rd October 2010
The Kilomathon (pronounced Kil-om-athon  ) is a 26.2 Kilometre Road Race that has been developed by GSi events, the same company that organise the Edinburgh Marathon, one of the fastest growing marathons in Europe.  The series was launched by double Olympian Liz Yelling who said "this innovative event will be a new target distance for lots of runners, from experienced looking to develop their performance or runners looking for a different challenge".

The Scotland Kilomathon is planned to take place on 3rd October 2010 starting and finishing in the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston and going over the spectacular Forth Road Bridge.

The race will start at 08:00.
