Kilomathon 13.1K TRANSPORT INFORMATION

The event starts at Ocean Terminal. Your Event Information Pack will give you a map of the area so you can work out the walking options available to you from where you are travelling from.

Lothian Buses numbers 11, 34, 35, 36 and the Skylink 200 Airport Bus service Ocean Terminal (start area) from the City Centre.  

Lothian Buses numbers 10 and 16 disembark at Lindsay Road, a short walk from Ocean Terminal.

Lothian Buses numbers 12, 22, 26, 30 and 31 and First Bus numbers 21, 22 and X38 service Murrayfield Stadium (finish area).

Haymarket Train Station is just over a mile from Murrayfield Stadium (finish area). 

Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is just over 2 miles from Murrayfield Stadium (finish area).

Edinburgh Trams operates services between Murrayfield Stadium and Ocean Terminal. These services run every 10 minutes before 9am then every 7 minutes thereafter.

The Ocean Terminal Tram stop is directly opposite where the 13.K race begins at the main entrance of Ocean Terminal.
Murrayfield Stadium tram stop is located a short distance from Murrayfield Stadium (finish area) on Roseburn Street. 

Parking at the start

Car parking is available for free at Ocean Terminal (13.1K start).

Parking at the finish

A parking pass can be purchased for Murrayfield Stadium car park for participants and/or spectators. There are limited car parking passes available so please book early to avoid disappointment.  The car park will be open from 07:00 until 11:30. Tickets can be purchased from the shop.

You can download your ticket from your MyRunning account within two weeks of the event. Tickets are non refundable.

Road closure information for the 2025 Kilomathon will be released closer to the event date.
