Kilomathon 6.5K TRANSPORT INFORMATION

The event starts on the cycle path which is entered from South Trinity Road. Your Event Information Pack will give you a map of the area so you can work out the walking options available to you from where you are travelling from.

2025 Murrayfield Car Parking Ticket

A parking pass can be purchased for Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium car park for participants and/or spectators. There are limited car parking passes available so please book early to avoid disappointment.

The car parking is available at Scottish Gas Murrayfield from 07:00 until 11:30.

The car park is located off Saughtonhall Avenue and is accessed via Saughtonhall Bridge.

2025 Kilomathon 6.5K - Runner ticket to start

To the 6.5K Start Area

Lothian Buses numbers 8, 14, 21, 23 and 27 operate close to South Trinity Road (the 6.5K start area).

To the Event Number Station and Baggage Drop at Ocean Terminal

Lothian Buses service numbers 10, 34, 35, 36 and 200 Airport Bus - frequent service to Ocean Terminal from the city centre (Event Number Station and baggage drop).

Lothian Buses Service Number 16 - disembark at Commercial Street, the centre is a short walk, a short walk from Ocean Terminal.

To the finish at Murrayfield Stadium

Lothian Buses numbers 12, 22, 26, 30 and 31 and First Bus numbers 21, 22 and X38 service Murrayfield Stadium (finish area).

Haymarket Train Station is just over a mile from Murrayfield Stadium (finish area). 

Edinburgh Waverley Train Station is just over 2 miles from Murrayfield Stadium (finish area).

Edinburgh Trams operates services between Murrayfield Stadium and Ocean Terminal. These services run every 10 minutes before 9am then every 7 minutes thereafter.

The Ocean Terminal Tram stop is directly opposite where the 13.K race begins at the main entrance of Ocean Terminal.
Murrayfield Stadium tram stop is located a short distance from Murrayfield Stadium (finish area) on Roseburn Street. 

Car parking is available for free at Clark Road, which is a short walk from the 6.5K start at South Trinity Road.

Please park with consideration to local residents, ensuring that you do not block driveways or cause congestion. We would suggest accessing these locations via the event bus service, or local bus services.
