Run for Rock Trust and help us to end youth homelessness in Scotland!
Rock Trust aims to end youth homelessness in Scotland by ensuring that every young person has access to expert youth specific services to assist them to avoid, survive and move on from homelessness. We advise, educate and support young people to enable them to build the personal skills and resources required to make a positive and healthy transition to adulthood. We also work to ensure that the public, policy makers, commissioners and practitioners understand the issues, make decisions and take action which will end youth homelessness.
We provide young people with:
- Short and long-term housing support
- Dedicated 1-1 support
- Nightstop accommodation
- Health and well-being services
- Emergency help and advice
- Up-skilling and employability, including group workshops
All of the money raised from your participation in the Edinburgh Marathon will go directly towards our work with young people affected by or at risk of homelessness. We currently work with just under 500 young people a year, and with your help we intend to reach even more.
We simply ask all of our adult runners to aim to raise a minimum of £150, or £300 if they are running the full Marathon. We will support you along the way with fundraising tips and ideas, training advice, a free Rock Trust running vest, and stories from our frontline work so you know the impact your support is having.
Thank you for helping us to end youth homelessness for good.
